‘Celta will ask a lot of Villarreal’

Villarreal assistant coach Ruben Uria expects a tough game when the Yellow Submarine play Celta Vigo at Balaidos.

Uria took the pre-match Press conference in place of Marcelino, whose father passed away this week. The Coach is expected back on the touchline for Sunday’s fixture.

It’s a game that Uria believes will test Villarreal to the limit, considering the form of the hosts in the early part of the season.

“It’s a game that will require a lot,” Uria said, Marca reports.

“Celta are a team that press a lot and they make you play with a lot of speed. They demand a lot but I think we’re prepared.

“It’s necessary we understand how to play Celta. We need to dominate play to combat the power of a team like this.

“We’ve prepared in the best was possible in the time available and even though we’ve got a few injuries in defence we will settle with what we have.

“We’re pleased with the squad and they’ve been doing a great job.”
