Ernesto Valverde believes his Athletic Bilbao team need to beat Granada when they meet on Saturday.
Valverde told his pre-match Press conference that he could make a change to his XI and return Andoni Iraola to the starting side.
“We certainly need a win and for us it is getting important, it is essential,” the Coach said, Marca reports.
“Iraola is a major player, the same as he was last season. He gives us a lot and he will be involved.
“Oscar de Marcos gives us a lot and he fits in well. The right-back position is one where we’re strongest.”
But Valverde isn’t expecting an easy time against Joaquin Caparros’ side at San Mames.
“They’re a very hard working team and keep the line of their defence and have the resources to attack and do damage,” he continued.
“We have had to put in a lot of effort [against Barcelona and Shakhtar Donetsk] and this game is a day earlier than I would like.
“But there are no signs of alarm and no different dynamic than before the international break.”
