LFP: Murcia don’t meet finance rules

The LFP have revealed that Real Murcia do not qualify for entry to the Segunda next season.

Murcia’s financial situation doesn’t conform to League rules, it’s said, and is it stands they can’t compete in the second tier.

A statement has been released on the LFP’s official website which adds Racing Santander have five days in which to provide further information on their financial status.

The League is to meet on August 7 and will then decide the future of both clubs, the statement confirms.
