Granada have confirmed they will appoint Joaquin Caparros as their new Coach, replacing Lucas Alcaraz.
The announcement was made by the club this afternoon in a deal that will see the departing Levante boss sign a two year contract with the Andalusian outfit.
Alcaraz, despite having kept the club in Spain’s top flight on the final day of this season, recently revealed he was considering his position at Los Carmenes.
It has now been confirmed he is leaving, while Caparros’ contract negotiations with Los Granotes broke down earlier this week.
As a result, the path is clear for the 58-year-old to take the reins at Granada.
