Clement admits to potential departure

Real Madrid assistant Paul Clement has admitted that he may have to leave the club soon to become a No.1.

The Englishman has been Carlo Ancelotti’s right-hand man at Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Los Blancos.

But the Coach has conceded that he will have to leave Santiago Bernabeu if he wants to take charge of his own club.

“I think the time for me to be a No.1 is soon,” he is reported as saying in The Mirror.

“A few opportunities have come my way, but this is a difficult place to leave.

“It’s a great club, a great city, a great tradition and it gives you the opportunity to win things.

“I’m not ruling anything out. It’s more than likely it will be in England, but if a nice opportunity came up in another country I wouldn’t rule it out.”
