Relegated Real Betis have confirmed that Gabriel Calderon will not continue as Coach next season.
The Verdiblancos have endured a terrible campaign this time around, going through three tacticians and finishing bottom of the table with 22 points.
And after slipping to the foot of the table, the Argentine has revealed that he will leave the club on July 1.
A statement on Real Betis’ official website read: “Gabriel Calderon, whose contract ends on June 30, has told the President of his intention to seek a new challenge.
“The Coach met with the President last week to admit that he would like to take a new direction in his career.
“Real Betis would like to thank Gabriel Calderon and his entire coaching team for the enormous effort they have given since their arrival four months ago.”
