Tata Martino has insisted that with the fans behind them, Barcelona can become champions next weekend.
The Blaugrana could only draw 0-0 with Elche on Sunday, meaning that next Saturday’s final League clash with Atletico Madrid will be a play-off for the title.
And the Argentine Coach has claimed that with the match at Camp Nou, his men can lift the trophy.
“In light of the other result [Atleti’s 1-1 draw with Malaga] we’ll take it,” he told a Press conference.
“It’s not what we wanted. Before the game we thought it wouldn’t be enough, but the other results leave us with a chance.
“It was one of those games when you have a strange feeling after Andrés’ shot. When we started to miss chances early on, sometimes patience turns into desperation.
“We’re playing with the result inside and out. At the end we didn’t know if we were taking too many risks or if they scored it would take us out of the race.
“I don’t know if we were lacking something but we gave it everything to win.
“To be honest I’m not one for sending out messages. Those of us inside give so that those outside can enjoy.
“But we’re going to need the fans’ support. And because, in short, it’s been a season where we haven’t shone and with the fans behind us we can win the League.”
