Levante boss Joaquin Caparros thought Friday night’s draw against Elche was ‘hard-fought’.
The Granotes claimed a 1-1 draw with the Franjiverdes yesterday evening, to keep themselves in ninth position.
“It was a hard-fought match,” he told a Press conference. “Both teams battled for the win.
“We knew we had to compete well, and I thought we did that.
“The first half was very even, and I was pleased with how we reacted to going behind in the second.
“Losing here wouldn’t have been good for us, because we want to continue with some momentum going into the last round of matches.”
