Alexis Sanchez’s agent has denied allegations that the forward has fallen out with Coach Tata Martino.
Catalan newspaper Sport revealed on Friday that the Chile international had crossed words with the tactician after Wednesday’s Copa del Rey final defeat.
It is alleged that Martino had promised the former Udinese man a start in the final, before going back on his word.
However, the goalscorer’s representative has insisted that it isn’t the case.
“I have just spoken to Alexis and he has asked me to categorically deny the accounts of his altercation with the Coach of Barcelona,” Fernando Felicevich told reporters.
“In a career spanning more than 10 years, Alexis has never had any problems with any of his Coaches.
“In this case, Sport has got it wrong. The reports in Sport are false. Alexis did not confront his Coach, let alone insult him.
“His conduct has always been exemplary.”
