La Liga clubs await European draws

Spain’s remaining Champions League and Europa League representatives will learn their semi-final opponents in today’s draws.

The draw for both competitions will be held in Nyon in Switzerland with the Europa League draw first.

Valencia and Sevilla will be in the mix after dispatching Basel and Porto respectively.

Los Che came back from 3-0 down against the Swiss side to win 5-3 on aggregate after extra-time with a hat-trick from Paco Alcacer.

Sevilla recovered from a 1-0 first-leg deficit to eliminate the Portuguese giants 4-2 on aggregate despite playing the final half an hour with 10 men after Coke was sent off.

The Champions League draw will follow with Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in the final four, along with holders Bayern Munich and 2012 winners Chelsea.

Los Blancos survived a scare against Borussia Dortmund to run out 3-2 winners on aggregate, going down to a 2-0 second-leg defeat after a 3-0 first-leg triumph.

Atletico qualified by virtue of their 2-1 aggregate win over Barcelona, Koke scoring the decisive goal to send Los Rojiblancos to their first European Cup semi-final in 40 years.
