Rayo Vallecano defender Razvan Rat has been given a four-game ban for headbutting Celta Vigo’s Charles.
The RFEF’s Competition Committee has confirmed the suspension, Marca reports, after Charles was left with a bloody nose following the incident.
Rat was dismissed with a little over an hour played of the 3-0 Rayo victory.
The Romanian, who moved to Rayo after six months with West Ham, stands to miss fixtures against Espanyol, Real Betis, Granada and Athletic Bilbao.
