Francisco was unhappy with Almeria’s 1-0 defeat to Real Valladolid as he felt it was a good chance to claim a win.
But Manucho’s goal ensured the three points stayed at Jose Zorrilla and took the teams level in the table
Speaking at his post-match Press conference, Francisco revealed his team came looking for the victory.
“The goal was to come here for three points. A draw would have done too,” Francisco said.
“There weren’t many clear chances so I think a draw would have been fair.
“But they did very little to get all the points.
“It’s a loss that hurts us but we’ll overcome it as soon as possible.”
