Valladolid defender Stefan Mitrovic is convinced his side will use last weekend’s shock win over Barcelona as a springboard for survival.
The Serbian, who is on loan from Benfica for the season, says he has always believed that the Pucela are a good team.
“The win against Barcelona was one of the most important moments of my career,” Mitrovic told Valladolid’s official website.
“Against Barca we were very compact and that is what we have to do until the end of the season.
“We will stay up, every time I have appeared in front of the media I have always maintained that we are a good team.”
