Almeria Coach Francisco was disappointed his side’s strong home record didn’t prevent Sevilla taking the points on Sunday.
The visitors won 3-1 and Francisco told reporters after the final whistle that having been beaten by Barcelona last weekend, he hoped for better back on familiar territory.
“The defeat comes at a painful time, after last week at Camp Nou,” Francisco said.
“It’s painful because it’s at home, where we have a good dynamic, but Sevilla have bettered us.
“Our forwards weren’t comfortable but from the first day we were just fighting not to be in the relegation zone.
“We’re going to stay the same, working every day to get better.”
