Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas admits Diego Lopez, who is currently the club’s first choice shot-stopper, is playing very well.
Lopez has been keeping the Spanish number one out of the Blancos side for over a year now and the 32-year-old knows he must take any future chances that may come along.
“Up until now the boss has gone for Diego in the league, in which we are doing well,” Casillas told the media today.
“A big part of the reason we are top is Diego Lopez, he is doing very well.
“When I play, I need to take my chance.
“Everyone wants to play more often and that is a good thing.
“If I only get to play 14 games, the important thing is to want to play more often.”
