Levante Coach Joaquin Caparros wants his to put in a good showing against Barcelona at Camp Nou.
The last time Les Granotes played at Barca’s home they were soundly beaten 7-0 in the first round of fixtures of the season.
Levante have yet to return to Barcelona in the League but do so in the second-leg of the Copa del Rey quarter-final on Wednesday, trailing 4-1 from the first meeting.
Caparros is not going to Catalonia expecting a turnaround, instead admitting the game is already as good as gone and giving a good account of themselves is most important for Levante.
“We have suffered at Camp Nou and in our own stadium against Barcelona,” Caparros told reporters.
“This would be a complicated result against any team but more so Barcelona.
“But we go with the intention of presenting a good image, playing a good game and above all coming away without injury or misfortune.
“Every good result strengthens us mentally and at an individual level it’s good for the players to have a good feeling because we need them all.
“Even the boys in Levante B because we must demand a lot on the pitch and that takes its toll physically and mentally.”
