Javier Aguirre was satisfied with his Espanyol side after they came from 2-1 down to draw 2-2 with Valencia.
A Sergio Garcia penalty on the stroke of half time ensured both teams went away with a point at Mestalla.
And the Mexican Coach has conceded that it was definitely a point gained.
“Valencia is not an easy place to come to,” he told a Press conference. “But it was an open game, and my lads looked comfortable.
“I think a draw’s probably the right result – both teams tried to play their own way and contested a good game.”
Aguirre then commented on the Copa del Rey clash with Real Madrid next week.
“It’s going to be very hard, but we just have to focus on scoring two goals. I’ll probably try out a few new names who will go there and give their all.”
