Reports in several Spanish outlets this afternoon suggest that Barcelona President Sandro Rosell will resign.
It was revealed on Thursday that the Blaugrana chief was to be called to a High Court hearing to answer questions over allegations of ‘misappropriation of funds’.
It has been alleged that Rosell has profited personally from the deal that saw Neymar move from Santos to Camp Nou.
And several sources, including Barcelona-based Mundo Deportivo, claim that the President will step down later today.
A special board meeting has been called for 18.00 CET.
