Juan Antonio Pizzi does not want to sell any of his Valencia players this month, but admits the situation could change.
Speaking at a Press conference to preview Friday’s game against Malaga, Pizzi insisted there were no new signings imminent.
He did however concede that will not necessarily be the case for the duration of the transfer window.
“We have not told anyone they can leave because we need all of our players.
“Which player would be expendable? None because the squad we have is all we have.
“We’ll see what happens in the future. Today we are fighting with the squad we have.
“This squad gives us a good chance of winning games and on that basis we will continue.
“We don’t keep lists of players to come or go, we haven’t pointed anyone out or talked to anyone because we value all of our players.”
Pizzi added that he will not be demanding new faces this month, and that he is content to persist with the players currently at hand.
“It doesn’t depend on what I want.
“I’m not in charge of that and I won’t be pushing the issue.
“We have to fight with what we have. I value these players and I can get the best performances out of them.
“We need to get the performances from them that led them to come here in the first place.”
