Rafa Lopez has said Getafe won’t throw in the towel ahead of their second-leg Copa del Rey tie with Barcelona despite trailing 4-0.

Lionel Messi returned from injury in the first-leg between the sides and scored twice in 27 minutes, with Cesc Fabregas also netting a brace in a comprehensive Camp Nou victory.

Despite the four-goal disparity, Lopez insists Getafe will make a game of it at Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

“It's very difficult to turn it around, but we're going to give it everything to try and do it,” Lopez told reporters.

“Barcelona are one of the best teams in the world but we're not going to give up.”

The last time Barca travelled to Getafe was in late December when the hosts took a two-goal lead inside the first 15 minutes, only for Barca to score five in reply with Pedro claiming a hat-trick.
