Line-ups: Espanyol-Madrid

Gareth Bale, Angel Di Maria and Xabi Alonso all start as Real Madrid face Espanyol this evening.

Cristiano Ronaldo joins Bale and Di Maria in the three supporting lone forward Karim Benzema after suggestions Carlo Ancelotti would choose between Di Maria and Isco.

Isco is among the substitutes, as is Jese, who is fit after recovering from crap sustained in the Copa del Rey win over Osasuna.

Alonso partners Luka Modric in midfield despite still suffering from a problem with his ear drum.

Diego Lopez continues in goal, with the back four made up of Dani Carvajal at right-back, Sergio Ramos and Pepe as central defenders and Marcelo at left-back.

Espanyol have Kiko Casilla in goal, Javi Lopez, Diego Colotto and Hector Moreno as centre-backs and Juan Fuentes at left-back.

The midfield is formed by Victor Sanchez and Raul Rodriguez, with Christian Stuani, Alex Fernandez and Gabriel Torje supporting Jhon Cordoba.

Espanyol: Casilla, Lopez, Colotto, Moreno, Fuentes, Sanchez, Rodriguez, Stuani, Alex, Torje, Cordoba

Madrid: Lopez, Carvajal, Ramos, Pepe, Marcelo, Modric, Alonso, Di Maria, Bale, Ronaldo, Benzema.
