Joaquin Caparros has insisted that his Levante side don’t need motivating as they prepare to face Valencia.
The Granotes travel to the Mestalla for the derby clash this evening, and the Coach has claimed that his men will be up against it as Juan Antonio Pizzi takes charge of Los Che for the first time.
“In a derby Coaches don’t need to motivate their players,” he told a Press conference.
“It’s going to be a difficult game against a Coach who wants to please. Valencia are a good side, but we have to back ourselves.
“If we focus for 90 minutes then we can come away with the points – I’m sure of it.
“Valencia’s players are going to be highly motivated and will want to impress the new boss – and we have to be ready to match that.”
