Former Barcelona player and Coach Josep Seguer has passed away today at the age of 90, it has been announced.
The former defender represented the Blaugrana in 470 matches between 1943 and 1957, winning five League titles and was a part of the 1951-52 side that won five trophies in a single campaign.
After retiring, Seguer also managed the Catalan outfit briefly in 1969 and the B team for two years after that.
Barcelona have today announced that the 90-year-old passed away in hospital on January 1. Seguer, who was capped four times by Spain, saw out his playing career at Real Betis, where he also had a managerial spell.
