Rosell on Martino & Puyol

Barcelona President Sandro Rosell has rubbished suggestions that Coach Tata Martino will leave at the end of the season.

Reports in Argentina earlier this week claimed that the tactician had told friends he wanted to leave Camp Nou come next summer.

However, the Blaugrana chief has insisted that is not the case.

"Rumours about Martino possibly leaving? Media shouldn't invent things like that. He has said it's not true,” he told reporters.”

Rosell then commented on other media outlets suggesting that Carles Puyolcould retire from the game because of injury.

“He's the best captain in modern history. It'd worry me if he wants to leave, but he didn't tell us anything.”
