Los Pericos followed up the first leg 2-2 result of this Round of 32 clash with a 2-0 win at Cornella-El Prat on Thursday evening, thanks to goals from Simao Sabrosa and Sidnei
“The objective has been accomplished. The first goal hurt them and from there it was smoother for us. If you let them play then they link up very well and can arrive at your goal with many touches and movements. We have won many aerial balls and taken possession closer to their goal. It was a good game in general.
“Jaen are a team that I like. They have been competitive and I want to congratulate them because they never gave away a kick. Collectively they did a great job. Nowadays it is not easy against any rival, from the Segunda or Segunda B.”
