Tata Martino is being reported in his homeland of Argentina as ready to quit Barcelona at the end of the current season.
The 51-year-old arrived as a late summer arrival on the Barca bench on from Tito Vilanova having to step down due to ill health.
Despite going his first 20 games of the season unbeaten with the Catalans, falling one short of Pep Guardiola’s club record, and having Barca top of La Liga and into the Last 16 of the Champions League, Martino has faced a consistent debate over his changes to the team’s playing style.
Mundo Deportivo have now picked up on reports in Argentina that say Martino has told those close to him that he is ‘uncomfortable’ at the Camp Nou, that he is ‘not happy’ and that he wants to leave at the end of the season.
