Villarreal midfielder Tomas Pina has admitted that going to Barcelona will be ‘special’ for his team.
The Yellow Submarine has enjoyed an exceptional start to the season, and are currently fighting for a place in the top four.
But ahead of Saturday’s game at Camp Nou, the former Mallorca man has conceded that it will be a great occasion.
“It’s a special game,” he told AS. “If we’re focused and we show aggression we can compete with anyone.
“We are having a good season and away from home we have been doing the right things.
“I’m sure Barcelona will be motivated after two defeats. But we believe in ourselves – I’m sure we’ll have a great game.
“It’s obviously one of the toughest games of the year, but if we play well, it will really set us up for the New Year.”
