Miroslav Djukic refused to criticise his Valencia side too much for failing to defeat Nastic in the first leg of their Copa del Rey meeting.
Sunday evening saw Los Che held to a goalless first leg against their Segunda Division B hosts, but their Coach isn’t getting carried away.
“A team of lower quality will always come out with greater intensity, we had to dominate the game and we have not managed to take the tie,” mused Djukic afterwards.
“There is another 90 minutes where we can resolve the tie in our ground. We have two major games coming up but this has not less importance.
“We have another 90 minutes though to make things right.
“There is no going back. The team has been solid. We have not managed to keep the ball, that’s all we can put on the team, but then they have fought, they have suffered.”
