Levante boss Joaquin Caparros is looking for an improvement from his team in Saturday’s Copa del Rey clash with Recreativo de Huelva.
The Andalusian stressed it is a tournament he has always liked, having reached four semi-finals and a final itself during his career, but is aware Recreativo will also be hoping for a good run this season.
“We will have to try to play well against a good team who have the same idea of getting through to the next round,” he told a Press conference.
“We are relaxed about it, although we know we must improve in a competition where there is always a lot of equality and games are decided by small details.
“That is something that can go in your favour or against you. It’s a long competition but, touch wood, we have no injury problems going into this game.
“However, it’s normal there will be some concerns with muscle injuries later on in the season as there are a lot of demands placed on players who are training at 100 per cent.”
