Espanyol goalkeeper has reflected on his side’s 2-1 loss to Real Sociedad at the weekend, insisting it was ‘unfair’.
The Periquitos went down at home to the Erreala on Saturday thanks to David Lopez’s last minute own goal.
“The logical thing was for us to have got three points or a draw,” he told reporters. “To lose like that really hurt.
“I actually thought it was quite unfair. The result certainly wasn’t a reflection on the team and how we played.
“We have to move on though, and try to look for solutions to the problems we face.
“We can’t make any excuses now. We have to stand up and try to correct mistakes.
“If we do that, we can keep on improving.”
