Pepe Mel has insisted that his Real Betis future does not depend on a win this weekend against Rayo Vallecano.
The Verdiblancos currently sit at the bottom of the Liga table, but the Coach has claimed that his job is not dependant on three points tomorrow.
“I do not fear for my job,” he told a Press conference. “My future does not depend on this match.
“Obviously, whoever loses this game will have a lot of anxiety, and we need to eliminate that pressure.
“This game is vital because we don’t want to drop out of sight at the bottom.
“But I am convinced that this run will end soon. We’ll finish in a comfortable place.”
