Sevilla striker Denis Cheryshev has damaged a muscle in his thigh, the club have confirmed on Friday.
The Russian youngster on loan for the season from Real Madrid, has suffered a re-occurrence of the injury that kept him out at the start of the season.
The Rojiblancos revealed on their official website that they have been in contact with Los Blancos, and have agreed not to put a deadline on his recovery.
Cheryshev has so far played just one game for Unai Emery’s men since joining from the capital.
