‘Thibauting’, the name for the fashion of emulating saves by Thibaut Courtois, is up for Belgium’s sports word of the year.
The country have included the word in a list to be polled to determine the best new word in sports from the last 12 months.
Thibauting is defined as: “Emulating a classic Thibaut Courtois goalkeeping save in any random location.”
On from this it has developed into an ongoing tribute to the on-loan Atletico Madrid man’s form in recent months.
