Joan Collet says that Espanyol have confidence that Coach Javier Aguirre can reverse their recent slide down the table.
After a promising start to the season, Los Pericos spend the November international break in mid-table after a run of just one win from eight.
Even with their tactician under pressure, the President has made clear he won’t be making any hasty decisions.
“Aguirre does not raise any doubt about himself, there is confidence,” Collet told RAC 1 this week.
“He is able to take the team forward, as he did last season. And now, we have a better team than last year.
“I cannot manage based on runs of form. I have spoken to Aguirre and he has given me confidence that everything will be fine.”
