Real Sociedad have handed striker Imanol Agirretxe a new contract, committing him to the club until June 2018.
The forward, who last term netted 13 times as the side beat Valencia to the fourth and final Champions League qualification spot in La Liga, has agreed to a three-year extension on his original deal.
Agirretxe commented that the news has seen him ‘fulfil a dream’ and that he hopes ‘to experience very special years’ with the club in the future.
An appearance for Agirretxe against Celta Vigo in Week 14 would also mark his 100th in the Primera Division.
“Times passes quickly and you can reach some major figures,” Agirretxe also commented.
“I’m very proud to reach them and to keep adding to them.”
