Valencia are reportedly negotiating with sacked sporting director Braulio Vazquez so as not to pay him full compensation due.
Los Che decided to take action for the team’s poor start to the season by dispensing with the sporting director on Monday evening, in a decision President Amadeo Salvo described was taken for ‘lost confidence’.
Having been handed a contract by previous President Manuel Llorente through to June 2017, it is understood that Braulio is owed a pay-off of €600,000.
However, reports are that the Mestalla outfit, who have a significant burden of debt still to work under, are looking to negotiate down that figure.
Tuesday saw Braulio bid farewell to those at Valencia’s training ground, bringing to and end three-and-a-half years at the club.
