Elche boss Fran Escriba is not surprised that Villarreal are having a good season, as the two prepare to face each other tomorrow.
The promoted side host the Yellow Submarine on Monday evening, and the Coach has admitted that Marcelino’s men are rightly flying high in the table.
“It’s not a surprise to see Villarreal having a good season,” he told a Press conference.
“Tomorrow’s game is going to be complicated, but we may be forced to make some changes. We have a few players with knocks, so we’ll see what happens in the morning.
“Villarreal have a good squad and have also done well in the transfer market. They’ve kept the same Coach and the same block of players from last season.
“I think it’s normal to see them so high in the table.”
