Joaquin Caparros has acknowledged Levante’s difficulty in facing Espanyol, but says ‘it is time to win at home’.
Los Granotes host Los Pericos this Week 10 sat in the top half of the table, but remarkably without having won a home game through the season yet.
“I think it is time to win at home. Mainly because the most immediate game is the biggest,” Caparros commented to reporters today.
“It is true that we have not yet won at home and we want to bring that joy to the fans. On from the effort in the last game, we will have to do even more tomorrow against a very complicated team.
“Javier Aguirre’s teams work in a competitive spirit, there is a strong concept of the group, we have to be at a high level if we want to win.
“This will be a tough game, where the most accurate and most focused team will take the win.
“We would like to take the initiative, but it is impossible to always push forward, no team does that in the world.
“We will have to defend together, they are very clear about how to play and we may face some problems.
“The last two games we have experienced highs and lows and know that we have to play until the referee’s whistle at the end.”
