Mel wants to bounce back after loss

Pepe Mel has admitted that his Real Betis side are desperate to avenge their loss at Getafe in the last round of fixtures.

The Verdiblancos went down 3-1 against the Azulones before the international break, and the Coach has conceded that his team want to make amends at home to Elche tomorrow.

“When you have a bad result, a break is never a good thing,” he told reporters. “The last match was a bad one from us – but that has gone now.

“Now we have to focus on Elche. They are a team with some great players and come into this division after doing really well in the Segunda.

“I have decided on my 11, but I’m not going to make it public because the players don’t know and it would be giving an advantage to a rival.”
