Athletic Bilbao defender Andoni Iraola has conceded that Villarreal will pose a real threat on Monday.
Los Leones host the Yellow Submarine in two days’ time, and the right-back has admitted that the promoted side are going great guns this term, but thinks his side can come away with three points.
“The results are there,” he told reporters. “We have been doing some great things this season.
“But we always look ahead and focus on the next challenge.
“Villarreal are going to be a more direct opponent than we’ve been used to – they have some very fast players.
“We know this is going to be a tough game. If we make mistakes, Villarreal will punish us.”
