Real Sociedad’s Imanol Agirretxe has insisted that he is still confident in his team despite a poor start to the season.
After last term’s fourth place finish, La Real are only 15th at the moment and have lost their first two games in the Champions League.
The striker though, is still excited about their European adventure, and believes that they can turn results around.
“We have the advantage of our experiences last year,” he told AS. “It all went wrong for us last season as well.
“We hope that history will repeat itself and we can go back up the League.
“The enthusiasm for the Champions League is not lost. We can’t forget what has happened to this club.
“We have to go into every European game remembering that tough past. We have a real chance to make history.
“I trust this team and in the work we do. I’m sure we’ll be back near the top of the League.”
