Barcelona President Sandro Rosell has told the club’s General Assembly that last season’s title was ‘incredible’.
The Blaugrana claimed a record-breaking League win last term under Tito Vilanova, and in front of the club members’ the chief has stressed the importance of that silverware.
“The 100 point League, Tito’s League, the League of prevailing – the merit of the players and the coaching staff, with all the difficulties they faced and the big problems was just incredible,” he said in his speech.
“The team has also learnt their lessons from the Champions League elimination [to Bayer Munich].”
Rosell then commented on Barcelona’s €32m profit from the last financial year.
“We have cleaned up the club over the last three years with a policy of transparency, austerity and growth.
“The debt is the real key to the battle for our economic management and what makes us different”.
