Levante boss Joaquin Caparros has admitted that defeat to Levante on Saturday night ‘hurt’.
The Granotes were 2-1 up with 90 minutes on the clock, but goal from Alvaro Morata and Cristiano Ronaldo gave Los Blancos all three points.
“We’ve done almost everything to win,” he told a Press conference. “We played so well, apart from in the last three or four minutes.
“It hurts to lose. We lacked a bit of experience in the last few minutes.
“We did well in the first half, and the fact that Diego Lopez was one of their best players shows you a lot.
“Hopefully this game will serve us well going forward and will help us to grow as a team.”
