Elche boss Fran Escriba has claimed that his side have ‘matured’ since the start of the season.
The newly-promoted team beat Espanyol 2-1 on Saturday afternoon thanks to a double from Coro.
“During the game I had the feeling that my team have matured,” he told a Press conference.
“We’ve been in control throughout the first half and at the end of the second. The only time we struggled was when we lost the ball at the start of the second half.
“We played a great game though – probably our most complete of the season.
“We know this season’s going to be hard, but we have a team that is growing and getting better all the time.”
