Javier Aguirre has blasted his Espanyol side after they lost 2-1 to Elche on Saturday afternoon.
A Coro double was enough to give the newly-promoted side all three points, and the Periquitos Coach has claimed that his men have to start turning around their run of three straight defeats.
“We cannot be happy with that first half,” he told a Press conference. “We did better in the second half.
“This is the third defeat in a row now and something has to be done.
“We are a team though, so ultimately the responsibility for the defeat is mine.
“Elche played with enthusiasm, intensity and got their fans behind them.”
