Granada have reported that they will be without Dani Benitez for a period of between four and six weeks through injury.
The attacking midfielder was a late substitute for the Andalucians in their 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao on Monday evening, but then had to be replaced inside five minutes after pulling up.
Tests carried out today by the club have since confirmed that the 26-year-old has damaged the hamstring muscle in his left leg.
Granada report that Benitez is subsequently facing a period of between four and six weeks on the treatment table, ruling him out of as many as six games.
