Pepe Mel has insisted his Real Betis side are working well ahead of tomorrow’s match against Athletic Bilbao.
The Verdiblancos travel to the new San Mames tomorrow looking for their second win of the campaign, and will come up against former player Benat Etxebarria, who left Seville for Bilbao in the summer.
“The team is working well,” he told a Press conference. “In every game we’ve played so far I felt we’ve been equal with our opponents – and that’s a definite positive.
“Benat is where he wants to be, and we all wish him the best of luck.
“With the likes of Benat, Susaeta and Ibai, Athletic have a great side who are playing with confidence.
“I’m sure it’ll be a spectacular match.”
