Fran Escriba has claimed that his Elche side were better than Osasuna, despite going down 2-1.
The newly-promoted side went down to the Rojillos on Friday, and the Coach has insisted that his men were much better than their rivals.
“We responded well to going down 2-0,” he told a Press conference. “I think we were better than our opponents.
“They won with two chances – but that’s football sometimes.
“As happened against Real Valladolid, their best player was their goalkeeper.
“We have to keep looking ahead though.”
