Valencia have cancelled Press commitments for Friday and shielded the team from further protests from fans at training today.
Los Che are in a state of crisis following a difficult start to the season, with yesterday’s 3-0 Europa League defeat at home to Swansea heightening supporters’ anger.
Fans protested during and after yesterday’s defeat, whilst Coach Miroslav Djukic’s position is now seen as under review.
For training on Friday morning, the club allowed the usual 15 minutes at the start for Press access, but amid increased security measures, whilst access to the Ciudad Deportiva training facilities was closed, as was the nearby parking area.
The club also cancelled the usual post-training Press conference, with Djukic now next in line to address the media in tomorrow’s pre-match session ahead of Sevilla’s Sunday evening visit.
