Tata Martino has flown out to Rosario to attend the funeral of his father, but is anticipated as back with Barcelona by the weekend.
Martino’s father passed away on Tuesday and, after opting to stay with the Catalans until after Wednesday’s Champions League opener with Ajax, the Argentine has today flown out to his homeland.
Reports, though, are that should nothing unexpected happen, the 50-year-old will be back with the Camp Nou outfit in time to oversee their weekend match with Rayo Vallecano.
Barca travel out to Vallecas on Saturday evening for Week 5’s fixture.
